About

Dr. Lance Jenkins

Dr. Lance Jenkins is committed to helping patients move better, feel better, and get back to doing the things they enjoy. He believes the best care starts with listening, understanding each patient’s concerns, and creating an individualized plan based on the best available evidence.

A graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, Dr. Jenkins graduated as valedictorian of his class and served as an anatomy lab instructor while completing his chiropractic education. He combines that strong academic foundation with a practical, patient-centered approach that emphasizes education, conservative care, and informed decision-making.

Outside the office, Dr. Jenkins enjoys distance running, kayaking Iowa’s lakes and rivers, and is always looking for opportunities to create something with his hands. His hobbies include knitting, leathercrafting, and wire-wrapped jewelry—interests that reflect the same patience, precision, and attention to detail he brings to patient care. He is also actively involved in the Sac City community through local nonprofit and arts organizations.

Whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing chronic pain, or looking to improve your mobility, Dr. Jenkins is dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-informed care to help you achieve your goals.

Meet Lucy

Lucy is the four-legged face of Jenkins Chiropractic. This yellow Lab loves meeting new people, offering a friendly greeting, and helping make every visit a little more relaxed.

Her favorite game is tug-of-war with her tire toy, and she takes it very seriously. Lucy may be friendly, but she is surprisingly strong!

Unfortunately, all that tugging really wears a pup out, and she’s prone to sleeping on the job.

When she’s not at the office, Lucy enjoys walks, spending time with her family, and reminding everyone that life is better with a Labrador around.

Our Philosophy

Fix it right the first time

We’re not interested in keeping you coming back longer than you need to. Our goal is to find the cause of your problem and address it — not just manage symptoms.

Honest, straightforward care

We’ll tell you what we find, what we think will help, and what to expect. No upselling, no pressure, no surprises.

Rooted in the community

We’ve been part of Sac City for a long time. We know our patients by name, and we take that relationship seriously.
