Meet our Staff

Lance Jenkins, D.C.

Photo Coming SoonLance Jenkins graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in October 2011, as valedictorian of his class.  A Sac City native, Dr. Jenkins obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Northern Iowa and worked for five years at the Waterloo-Cedar Falls courier as a graphic and web designer.  His interest shifted to chiropractic after realizing the difference he could make in people’s lives and health-care choices.

At Palmer, Dr. Jenkins taught in the spinal anatomy lab and took additional courses and training in low-force techniques and soft-tissue rehabilitation.  He also underwent extensive training in whiplash injuries taught by Arthur Croft, the world’s leading researcher on the subject.  His education allows for the treatment of patients of all ages and conditions, and while in the Palmer clinic system he cared for people ranging in age from two weeks to 98 years.

Dr. Jenkins is a member of the Sac County Young Professionals and the Iowa Chiropractic Society.  He and his wife, Christy, enjoy travel and being active in the Sac City community.  Christy received her Master’s degree in mental health counseling from UNI in 2008. She is the Prevention Director for New Opportunities in Carroll, a community organization that serves seven counties including Sac.
